Description

MicroScanner™ PoE enables fast and easy PoE verification. The tester shows the available PoE class (0-8) of 802.3at, .3af and .3bt devices as well as the voltage of passive PoE sources. Available services (up to 10G), cable length, wiremap, cable ID, IntelliTone toning, and error distance are also offered.

The IntelliTone Pro 200 Probe includes the Cablemap feature to detect typical twisted-pair cable wiring errors. To check the end-to-end pass, the individual wires are passed through automatically. LED indicators and alarm tones clearly indicate incorrect wiring.

PoE Switch Verification: Determine if a switch port can provide sufficient voltage by reporting the PoE class (0-8).
Pairs supplied: Graphic identification of the pairs supplied. Including double signature, in which the switch port delivers voltage over 2 or 4 pairs (802.3bt or PoE++)
Active switch detection: Determine if a cable is connected to a switch port and the port speed is up to 10G
Cable tests: Identify shorted, open, or crossed wires at both ends and the length of each pair and send tones to locate cables.
