Description

Active Bluetooth interface/bridgeThe CANblue II is a low-cost universal CAN Bluetooth module, which covers a wide range of applications with its three operating modes.In the service area, for example, it enables wireless access to CAN systems via the Bluetooth interface already included as standard in notebooks. The reading out of diagnostic data or the configuration of the system can thus be carried out very easily and flexibly, even with plant parts that are difficult to access.By using several CANblue II devices, network segments can be connected to each other. This allows rotating or moving parts, e.g. in wind turbines, to be reliably connected or systems can also be networked over long distances of up to 200 meters. This avoids the risk of interference-prone slip ring connections or the expensive laying of cables between far away system parts.Last but not least, Bluetooth-based communication also offers decisive advantages in terms of range and interference immunity compared to conventional WLAN solutions.
