In 2018, Siemens awarded the Swiss logistics company Hupac eight Vectron MS freight train locomotives. The multi-system power vehicles have been procured for use on the Rhine-Alps corridor in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy and the Netherlands (DACHINL). The locomotives enable operators cooperating with Hupac to bring together the European economies.
