Description

FL switches determine fault currents against earth and protect persons & animals against too high contact voltage in direct and indirect contact. They protect equipment against fire hazard due to insulation faults and are used both in building installation and in industry.

Type classes
AC type: Tripping occurs when the sinusoidal AC fault current increases slowly.
Type A: The tripping takes place at alternating fault current as well as at slowly rising and also at immediate pulsating DC fault current.
Type B: A triggering occurs at sin. AC fault current, with pulsating DC fault current and with smooth DC fault current.
