Description

The integrated safety board protects the cell from overcharging, overload, short-circuit or deep discharge. Thus, the battery is perfectly protected against incorrect handling, which was made possible for a long life. Compared to conventional NiMH batteries, Li-Ion technology has almost twice the energy density with the same size. The ANSMANN 16340 Li-Ion battery is extremely long-lasting and can be charged up to 2000 times even under harsh operating conditions. Due to the very low self-discharge, the battery keeps its energy for a long period of time even when not in use. In addition, the weight of the Li-Ion cell is much lower than conventional battery technologies (e.g. NiCd/NiMH/PB) with the same performance. The high-quality lithium-ion battery from ANSMANN is ideal for use in modern devices such as LED torches, headlamps, e-cigarettes, laser pens, etc. The cell has a capacity of 850 mAh and is therefore ideal for "power guzzlers" with hohem of energy. In addition, the battery can be used over a wide temperature range of -20°C to +60°C.

Due to the integrated protective circuit, the dimensions of the cell are approx. 3-4mm longer than unprotected 16340er Li-Ion batteries.
