Description

The Grumman F8F Bearcat is a piston-driven, single-seater US aircraft in all-metal design from the 1940er. Thanks to the enormous top speed, the well-known Rare Bear – a modification of the F8F-2 – enjoys a racing aircraft at 850.24 km/h, which holds the record for piston-driven aircraft on a 3-km course at a limited flying height.The Rare Bear Amewi Edition is a scale replica of the well-known Reno Racers with the original paint of the racing aircraft and combines perfect flight characteristics (6G for beginners, 3D for advanced users) with the latest technology. The model is controlled via all axes (cross, height, side, motor) and is self-stabilizing (gyro) in 6G mode. This stabilization prevents the aircraft from overtaking and allows only a limited angle, so that looping, rolling or inverted flight is not possible in this setting. However, if you switch to 3D mode using the high-quality 2.4 GHz transmitter, it is also suitable for dynamic aerobatics. All described standard figures are then possible without any problem. If something goes wrong in the air, the P-40 can be switched back to the 6G mode with just a push of a button and immediately resumes a stable flight attitude (rescue function). In addition to these features, the model is equipped with a receiver board that allows operation with e.g. Futaba or other 5V S-Bus receivers as well as DSM receivers with a 3V output. Thus, the model does not depend on the remote control included in the delivery, but can also be used with an existing transmitter.
