Description
Our popular Buzzard helicopter known from the TV in the revised V2 version simplifies the entry into the helicopter flying again with its new features. This beautiful, robust and speed-controlled single-rotor helicopter now has a new handy 2.4 GHz transmitter in the assignment mode 2 (gas left in the delivery state, but can be switched to mode 1) incl. many additional functions like dual rate (servo path limitation) and auto start/auto landing. The model can thus be started automatically via a button on the transmitter, rises to a base height of approx. 1–1.2m and floats there in a stable manner. The pilot can thus concentrate on the essential flight characteristics as forwards/backwards and right/left. If the model drifts slightly, this can be corrected by the digital trimmer on the transmitter. Furthermore, the "ground effect" of a helicopter is faded out by the auto-start function, as it quickly rises to its basic height. The ground effect is caused by the rotors, which cause turbulence below the helicopter and cause the helicopter to drift to the left at ground level. It is therefore difficult to control the model at a low height. Once the pilot has the functions on the right side of the transmitter under control, he can rise/fall and devote himself to the rear rotation. These functions are located on the left joystick. To land, simply press the take-off/landing button on the front right of the transmitter again and the helicopter hovers gently to the ground and switches off the engine. Even in the landing approach, the helicopter remains fully controllable and the landing point can be controlled in the descent flight. However, the landing can also be done manually – to do this, simply press the throttle downwards and keep it pressed until the model starts up and the engine switches off. Manual start and gyro calibration on the transmitter is also possible as an alternative. A new feature is the replaceable rechargeable battery, which is now supplied in a hard case with USB charging port and power output for the helicopter. "Polarity reversal" is no longer possible and the battery change is much easier in the V2 version. Compared to the predecessor, the flight stability of the model was also increased again.
