Description

The MI 3290 Earthing Analyzer is a portable, battery-powered or mains-powered test device with an excellent IP protection class (IP 54 housing open), for measuring the earthing resistance, specific earth resistance and ground potential of the various energetic and non-energetic objects. The user can choose between different methods from the classic 3-wire earthing resistance measurement up to one or four clamp meter procedures for measuring high-voltage masts. It has a selection of measurement methods with different frequency Methods: Single frequency or frequencies from 55 Hz to 15 kHz, HF-procedures with 25 kHz and pulse method to simulate a lightning strike. Due to its high electrical interference resistance, this measuring device is ideally suited for industrial applications. The measuring instrument is available in several sets, which enable a combination of different accessories and measuring functions.
