Lindys active HDMI 18G cables combine slim and modern design with high performance to ensure high-quality, reliable HDMI transmission over long distances. The integrated chipset amplifies signals so that they can be transmitted over far greater distances than with conventional standard HDMI cables. This has the advantage that you can do without more expensive extender solutions. These cables can be easily laid in the cable duct or in confined spaces, since the active chip is integrated in the plug. The full 18G HDMI bandwidth is supported with resolutions up to 4096x2160@60Hz, including support for the REC.2020 color space, which supports the entire range of required colors for "high dynamic" content with extended contrast and true-to-life colors.
The cables with HDMI 2.0 specification are suitable for use with many source devices such as set-top boxes, HDMI media players or PCs, which are connected with modern displays or projectors. They are ideal for retail displays, informative digital signage systems, or immersive video playback in sports bars, music events, or demanding home theater.
By supporting many multi-channel audio formats including Dolby® True HD and DTS-HD master audio, the cables guarantee an impressive 3D surround sound when connected to a loudspeaker system with amplifier. The CEC functionality allows many settings of the source device to be controlled via the display or projector, so there is no need to use multiple remote controls.
Make sure that the cable is connected correctly: The connector labeled "Display" must be connected to the monitor or monitor. Incorrect connection leads to signal loss. Some projectors have recessed HDMI sockets, please make sure that the connection of the cable is possible.
