The new Logo module! CIM fits perfectly into the existing family OF THE LOGO! Communication modules and once again expands the possibilities that are present in the small logic module. The main focus is on communication via different protocols with different partners and the use of the module for applications that require Internet access but do not have a LAN infrastructure available. For communication, the Modbus RTU and TCP protocols can now be used, which considerably facilitate the connection of drives, as well as the RESTful API which is more likely to come from the IT sector. In addition, the CIM module can be extended by a regionally adapted radio module, which can be placed together with a SIM card inside the housing and establishes the connection to the cloud with additional antennas.
