EVSE adapter for charging plugs type 1 and 2, PP and CP simulation, Schuko socket connection, direct acceptance of all connections via laboratory plugs, electromobility plays an increasingly important role. An important point is the charging stations of electric vehicles. To check the fixed charging stations, also called wallboxes, special measuring instruments are required to check the function, the protective devices and the insulation. Often, there are already measuring devices in place to carry out the necessary measurements. An adapter is therefore required to connect the measuring device to the charging station. The EVSE adapter / test adapter for charging stations is specially designed for this application and already offers a variety of functions. Thus, all lines that go off the charging station are output individually via laboratory plugs. Thus, all cables can be tapped via the EVSE adapter. This allows the charging station to be checked for insulation using the EVSE adapter. The EVSE adapter has a safety plug connection. With the help of RCD tester, the residual current protection device can be checked in a charging cable not only the supply cables are present, in order to charge an electric vehicle, but also two interfaces. The electronic vehicle communicates with the charging station via the CP line (Control Pilot) and informs about the current status of the electric vehicle. The PP cable (Proximity Plug) is used for communication between the connected charging cable and the charging station / charging column. The charging cable can thus tell the charging station with how much ampere it may be charged. In order to test both functions, the EVSE adapter is equipped with corresponding simulators.
