Description
With the agricultural measuring device you get a measuring device for a fast and accurate determination of the refraction index ND between 1,300 and 1,700. The Agrar-Meter also measures the sugar content of translucent liquids, dispersions, emulsions or other substances. Using the thermometer supplied, the refraction index can be determined for a temperature range of 0 to +70 °C. For temperature control of the device, adapters for water hoses are attached on both sides to the agricultural measuring device at the upper and lower prism holders, which permit temperature control by means of external thermostats. With this agricultural measuring device you can, for example, determine the exact sugar content in the range 0 - 95 % (1,333 ... 1.5 31). However, the application area is considerably larger: Measurement and analysis of fats, oils, paints, varnishes, foodstuffs, Chemical substances, alcohol and solvents.
