Description

The HomeMatic IP Keypad is the ideal addition to the HomeMatic IP doorlock actuator and controls the front door whenever you want: Simply enter the secret number code and confirm and you open, lock or unlock the door. The keypad not only controls your door by code, but also switches on your lighting, lets the garage door start up or activates the alarm mode in connection with other HomeMatic IP devices. When approaching, the keypad keypad is automatically illuminated by the integrated proximity sensor.The HomeMatic IP APP allows you to configure up to eight 4 to 8 digit access codes, both permanent and defined for specific times and days of the week. Assign different codes to family members, close friends or service providers and determine who can come to the house when. Secondary keys or remote key controls remain with you. The HomeMatic IP Keypad can be attached to the outside wall next to the entrance door without any additional installation material. No additional cables are required, or existing cables on the customer's side. This promotes the safety of the system tremendously, since there are no cables in the outdoor area that can be sabotaged. The four to eight-digit numerical codes, an integrated sabotage contact and the encrypted device communication reliably protect the home from intruders. The keypad logs every code entry and is automatically locked if there are too many incorrect entries. Of course, the keypad also benefits from the VDE-certified protocol, IT and data security of the HomeMatic IP system. This allows the internal HomeMatic IP door lock drive to be controlled from outside via the keypad by a secure radio command.
