This makes the magnetic field tester ideal for testing solenoid valves or relays, for example. Especially in the industrial area, where the function must be checked quickly, e.g. whether a valve still functions correctly or a relay still switches. The PCE-MFM 3000 magnetic field tester measures the built-up magnetic field through a housing. Therefore, it is no longer necessary to open the device and the function can be checked very quickly and accurately. Due to the very flat measuring tip, the external probe and the magnetic field tester can also penetrate into a measured object through small openings. This is especially advantageous when measuring transformers with air coils. The magnetic field tester is also suitable for explaining and demonstrating the behavior of a magnetic field, since the numerical display clearly indicates an increase or decrease in the field strength. Due to the small measuring ranges of the magnetic field tester, this measuring device is best equipped to measure even small magnetic fields safely. Especially small magnetic magnets or magnetic guide rails have a relatively weak magnetic field and can be detected with this measuring device.
