Safety knife or cutter? With the versatile SECUBASE 383 you can do both. Your professional cutting tool is first equipped with an automatic blade retraction in order to avoid cutting injuries. Certain cutting applications, however, are better off hand with a fixed blade, including the saw cut. For this purpose, you can optionally lock the blade in seven different steps. This allows flexible working.
Long blade leak"Long" is actually an understatement: The ring outlet is a maximum of 7.8 cm. Thus you can easily use the SECUBASE 383, for example Securely cut 4-layer cartons, sack products, paper trays and rolls, construction foam and polystirene sheets.Locking and retractionIf you want to use your SECUBASE 383 as a cutter, you can choose between seven settings (cutting depths from 7 to 73 mm). Then release the locking mechanism again – and the blade retracts as usual.Ergonomic gripTo protect your hand, the SECUBASE 383 is ergonomically designed. The slightly fitted handle feels very comfortable. Another proof is the slide, which can be moved very easily thanks to the ramp.For right and leftThe SECUBASE 383 is designed for right-handed use. As a left-handed person, turn the blade once by 180° – and you can start. Slide and lock are operated with the thumb.Easy blade changeTo access the long, flexible blade, use the blue blade change button at the end of the handle. Now you can pull out the inner part including slider. The blade is held in position by two magnets.
