The AFX-105 X is a true-to-original replica of one of the world's best-known helicopter, the Bölkow Bo 105, with an eye-catching special paint. The entire structure of the model is made robust. The newly designed 4-blade rotor head is supported by a precise stabilization system and gives the helicopter a completely new control feeling thanks to auto-start and auto-landing. With the innovative electronics it is now also possible for beginners to fly such a multi-blade helicopter without having any major prior knowledge. The AFX-105 X starts with the press of a button on a handy 2.4 GHz transmitter with LCD display and metal joysticks, and hovers over it with a certain base height. There, the model is staying (in the altitude mode) and the model pilot can concentrate completely on the essential functions of the helicopter without having to pay attention to the flying altitude at the same time. The gyro system controls thereby the tail rotor and keeps the model stable in the air. The model has three speed levels that are equally interesting for beginners and advanced pilots for more agility. Thus, the model is also suitable for outdoor use (with light wind) and achieves high speeds in forward flight. For landing, you can press the start/landing button on the transmitter again: The model sinks gently back to the ground. The motor has soft start-up and soft-cut. This means that during the start the rotor rotates slowly and prevents the model from turning away on its own axis. The same applies when landing: The rotor runs slowly, the motor is automatically switched off. As an additional safety feature, the AFX-105 X has a voltage monitoring feature, which continuously tests the battery during flight. If the base voltage is reached, the LED light in the helicopter starts to flash and signals that the land is as soon as possible. If the pilot does not react, the system automatically takes over the landing to protect the battery.Available as an RtF version (Ready-to-Fly), everything is already included in the delivery - except for batteries customary in the household for the transmitter - WAS is required for the operation of the helicopter. With the LiPo battery 2S 7.4V 350mAh flight times of up to 15 minutes are possible.
