Description
Control signals from the automation device are forwarded to the connected actuators via the digital output module. The module has 4 semiconductor switches, which are implemented by MOSFETs with very low switch-on resistance and are suitable for operation with AC or DC voltages. The semiconductor outputs are not permanently short-circuit proof, therefore an external fuse is required. The control of the semiconductor outputs is electrically isolated from the internal system voltage. In addition, the output channels of the I/O module (750-528) are also electrically isolated from each other. The field supply voltage is passed on to the modules plugged on the right via the power contacts. The signal states for controlling the 4 digital outputs are displayed via status LEDs.
