It has the reputation of being one of the most reliable PLA filaments on the market. Through the careful selection of the color pigments, you are guaranteed constant and powerful colors. The optimized manufacturing process means that you will always get very good printing results and nozzle clogging is a thing of the past if used correctly. As opposed to ABS, PLA filaments don't require a hot bed as they shrink much as they don't require the required "Warping effect". PLA is based on corn starch and is degradable under industrial conditions. Which is why it is one of the most environmentally friendly filaments for 3D printing. In addition, the BASF Ultrafuse PLA filament is distinguished by its excellent price-performance ratio and can be used both for home use as well as technically demanding models.
