Description
The level probe is used for continuous hydrostatic level measurement in liquids. In ventilated tanks filling heights of up to 2.50 mWS (water column) can be realized. When the level probe is immersed in a liquid, a liquid column is formed above it. This increases as the immersion depth increases and causes a hydrostatic pressure on the measuring system with its weight force. The measured pressure is transmitted as a unit signal. The signal is linearly proportional to the rising liquid column. With the help of the protective hose the occurring air pressure fluctuations are automatically compensated and the environmental pressure is thus taken into account. The standardized, design and continuous optimization in the production process lead to an excellent price-performance ratio of the level probe. The core of the level probe is a piezoresistive measuring cell, which is characterized by a high overload resistance and is particularly reliable and temperature resistant. The level probe is used in rainwater cisterns, fuel oil and diesel tanks and gray water recycling. The measurement accuracy is 0.3%. The medium temperature range is from 0 to 50 °C.
