Description
The router module (component of the entire system mTRON T) with front-side RJ45 system bus connections (1 x Bus In, 2 x Bus Out) achieves a decentralization within the automation system, i. e. h. The input/output modules are distributed over several DIN/control cabinets. Up to 100 m distance can be between two router modules or between a router module and a base module or multi-function panel. A maximum of 30 router modules and a maximum of 30 input/output modules are possible in one system. The voltage supply and the operating state of the module are indicated by LEDs. The power supply of the router module is connected to the front through a removable terminal strip. The router module does not require any configuration. It is integrated into the entire system through the setup program. For special applications such as Hot-Connect the address of the router module can be set via the rotary coding switch. If servicing is required, the module slot can be simply pulled forwards out of the housing. The housing including bus board is thereby installed on the DIN rail. The voltage supply is 24 V DC +25/-20%.
