Description
Thanks to galvanic isolation and customer-specific linearization, the multi-function four-wire transmitter is the solution for a wide range of applications in plant construction. With a width of only 17.5 mm this introductory model is very space-saving in the cabinet installation. It captures sensor signals from resistance thermometers in three-wire circuit. The transmitter supplies 0(4) to 20- mA as output signal. The measuring input and the output signal are electrically isolated from each other. In addition, an RS485 Modbus RTU interface is available. In addition to the ATEX and IECEx approval, the multi-function transmitter has a SIL 2/SIL 3 approval according to DIN EN- 61508 and PL c/d according to ISO 13849. An operating hour meter is also provided. The transmitter is configured with respect to the type of sensor, connection technology of the sensor, operating hours meter, measuring range (freely adjustable) and linearization using a setup program on the PC. The connection to the PC is established via a USB interface, which does not require any additional auxiliary voltage. Via the USB-interface the min.-/max.-process value as well as the min.-/max. recorded by the transmitter can be -Operating temperature is read and the sensor wiring is checked online. The operating states of the transmitter are indicated by a 3-colored LED (red/green).
