The PID-controller for the plastic industry, in the format 48 x 96 mm, is suitable for switch panel installation. In addition to 2 universal inputs, 2 relay outputs (changeover contact), 2 binary inputs and 2 binary outputs, the compact controller has a power supply for two-wire transmitters. The voltage supply range is between AC 110 and 240 V +10/-15%, 48 to 63 Hz. The controller is suitable for controlling temperatures and other process variables in special applications in the plastics industry. Areas of application are e.g. Extruders, injection molding machines, temperature control units and hot runner systems. The high-contrast, multi-colored LCD screen for actual value, set-point and user management consists of two four-digit 7 segment displays. It is easy to operate using four buttons. The device can be used as a two-point, three-point or three-point step controller. The controller software includes a hot channel ramp function, control circuit and adjustment level monitoring, two self-optimization procedures and 4 limit value monitoring functions, among other things. Linearizations of standard transducers are stored. The controller has cULus approval.
