The Arduino GIGA R1 WiFi was developed for ambitious makers. It paves the way for gamers, artists, sound designers and anyone who enters the tech world with great ideas and small budgets - because it packs advanced functions into an accessible component with the same form factor as the popular Arduino Mega and Due Boards.Microcontroller (STM32H747XI)This 32-bit dual-core microcontroller allows you to let two brains talk to each other (one 480-MHz Cortex®-M7 and 240-MHz Cortex®-M4). You can even run Micropython on one side and Arduino on the other.Wireless communication (Murata 1DX)Whether you prefer Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, the GIGA R1 WiFi offers you everything. You can even quickly connect to the Arduino IoT Cloud to keep track of your project from a distance. And if you are concerned about the security of the communication, the ATECC608A has everything under control.Hardware Connections and CommunicationFollowing the Arduino Mega and Arduino Due, the GIGA R1 WiFi offers 4 UART serial hardware ports (serial hardware ports), 3 I2C ports (1 more than its predecessors), 2 SPI ports (1 more than its predecessors), 1 FDCAN.GPIOs and extra pinsThanks to the same form factor of Mega and Due, your custom shields can easily be adapted to the GIGA R1 WiFi (remember that this board works with 3.3V!). Thanks to additional headers, the total number of GPIO pins is 76 - the best thing is: You can access them from below so you can leave your project as it is and just think about how you can expand it. We have also added two new pins: A VRTC that can be connected to a battery to keep the RTC running while the board is off, and an OFF pin that can be used to shut off the board.ConnectorsThe GIGA R1 WiFi has additional connections on the board, which simplify the creation of your project without additional hardware. This board has:- USB-A connector for connecting USB sticks, other mass storage devices and HID devices such as keyboard or mouse.- 3.5 mm input/output socket for connection to DAC0, DAC1 and A7.- USB-C® for power supply and programming of the board as well as for simulating a HID device such as a mouse or keyboard.- JTAG connector, 2x5 1.27mm.- 20-pin Arducam camera connector.Supports higher voltagesAs compared to its predecessors, which support up to 12 volts, the GIGA R1 WiFi can process a range from 6 to 24 volts.
