The SITOR fuse system from Siemens, an important component of the SENTRON protective components for electrical installations, provides effective protection for people, equipment and systems by safely switching off in case of overload and short circuit. The application area also includes frequency converters with fuses in the input and in the DC-DC link as well as UPS systems and soft starters for motors. The Siemens SITOR fuses feature: 1. Super-quick cut-off characteristics as compared to the conventional NH-fuses. 2. Power semiconductors are also protected safely in case of a short circuit. 3. The Siemens quality standard ensures very good characteristics. 4. SITOR cylinder fuses are approved in accordance with IEC and UL and, for the most part, CCC and can therefore be used worldwide. 5. Partially suitable for installation in NH fuse bases, in NH fuse switch disconnectors and switch disconnectors with fuses.
