Overview

PoE is preferably used when no power supply is possible at the place of operation and suitable devices can also be supplied with power via the incoming network cable at the same time.
With a data transfer rate of 1 GBit/s, this PoE injector corresponds to the Gigabit Ethernet standard and has a maximum output voltage of 48 V as well as a power output of 15.4 W.
Two RJ45 sockets as well as a cold device connection are integrated in the plastic housing - the power supply via pin 4/5(+) & 7/8(-) is via the marked "PoE" network socket.

Description

With the help of the Digitus PoE injector you minimize your wiring expenditure during the installation of PoE-enabled devices such as IP network cameras. The data and power supply for the devices are only fed via an Ethernet cable. This makes laying a separate power line unnecessary and you are able to expand your network even where there are no sockets or power lines available. The injector is fully compatible with the IEEE 802.3af PoE standard and delivers an output power of 15.4 watt.

Characteristics

The PoE output has a current limitation, a short-circuit protection as well as an automatic end device detection and classification.
The power consumption of the injector itself is max. 1.6 Watt - a cold device connection cable is included in the delivery.
