Description

The VIAVI Visual Fault Locator (VFL) is an essential tool for quickly and easily locating faults in fiber optic cables. By displaying the exact location of the damage, technicians can efficiently identify and resolve the problem. The FFL-050 is designed for an easy, mobile handling. It is equipped with a 2.5 mm interface and is compatible with plugs such as SC, ST and FC, while the 1.25 mm adapter supplied enables the connection to LC and MU plugs. The VFL emits a bright red laser beam (Class II) so that the light coming out of the damaged fiber is clearly visible from a distance. The control button allows the operator to choose between continuous or flashing lighting.
