Description
Batteries need to be sufficiently charged in order to maintain starting reliability and a long service life. Determining the state of charge and making it visible to the user at any time is the task of CTEK's new Comfort Indicator charge level indicators. Simple and immediately obvious, a traffic light function indicates how well the battery is charged. The optimum is the fact that you can simply connect any XS800, XC800, XS 3600, XS 4003, XS 7000, XS 0.8, XC 0.8, MXS 3.6, MXS 5.0 or MXS 7.0 directly to the Comfort Indicator in order to trim the battery back to the optimum state of charge. The traffic light is green for charge states >12.85 volts and turns red for charge states <12.4 volts. This takes account of the fact that batteries below 12.4 V sulphate.
