Description

In today's world of electronics and technology there is inevitably a conflict with the phenomenon of "ESD" (electrostatic discharge). Many components, modules, plug-in cards etc. are highly sensitive to the electrical discharges in a daily routine which often happens unnoticed. These voltage surges can destroy or at least severely affect electronic assemblies – that is, a damaged component can work for a while before it can suffer the damage originally caused by ESD and possibly cause additional, expensive consequential damage.
