Description

Are you gardener and want to switch points on your garden railway system to prototype, with a slow control path? These and many other functions are now possible with the new EVO-S point drive by Massoth. With the EVO-S, Massoth not only improved the point drive, but also reinvented it and applied for a patent for the unique product concept. WAS makes it so unique? It offers a prototypical slow setting pitch and at the same time the possibility of cutting the point Even after cutting, the EVO-S can be switched back to the previous preferred position direction at any time. Alternatively, the drive can be configured so that the points are firmly applied.

The EVO-S is the smallest drive in series, with integrated decoder and suitable for all power point types from major manufacturers. The DCC Decoder supports digital and analogue mode without large programming effort for using directly out of the box. This makes it very suitable for beginners of digital.

The required end point for the displacement path of the points does not have to be programmed, the drive adjusts itself at any time For this, up to 12mm adjustment travel is available, sufficient for all commercial points. A manual fall-back feature can be activated for one of the two switching directions. And of course the drive switches with almost silent operation.

But the EVO-S would not be suitable for outdoor use if it had not been specially designed for this purpose. The electronics are not located on the bottom of the housing as usual, but are housed in an air cushion on the ceiling. The motor and electronics are thus always dry. In addition, the electronics are cast for protection against humidity Rain and amazement are no problem with the drive. As soon as the water has drained, the EVO-S can be used as usual. And if it should be necessary, the engine can be easily replaced in case of service.
