1. Always make sure the battery is sufficiently charged before using it. Always use a Insta360-approved adapter or quick-charge hub for charging, which you can purchase from the Insta360 store.
2. Before each use, make sure that the battery latch and rubber seal are fully functional (please note that some batteries do not have a rubber seal). Damage may affect the camera's water tightness.
3. Check housing and charging contacts before using any damage. Never use damaged batteries.
4. Do not charge the battery immediately after use, since the temperature of the battery may be too high. Allow the battery to cool down to approximately room temperature before charging. Charging the battery at ambient temperatures above 40°C can lead to bloating, leaking, overheating or damage.
5. Never leave the rechargeable battery unattended during the charging process. Do not charge the battery in the proximity of flammable materials or flammable surfaces such as carpets or wood.
6. Disconnect the battery from the power source when you are not using it.
7. Do not use alcohol or other flammable liquids to clean the battery.
8. If you are storing the battery for a long period of time, remove it from the camera and place it in a well-ventilated and dry place.
9. You should fully discharge and recharge the battery every three months to ensure its performance is not affected.
