From 1952 onwards, Opel Blitz, built in 1930, received a new modern look. The design was very similar to the American pick-ups at the time. The vehicle, now designed for 1.75 tons of payload, was available as a box and flat wagon. In addition, special superstructures such as rotary ladders, towing cranes and beverage platforms were also offered. The vehicle, commonly known as soft flashes, was powered by a six-cylinder petrol engine and had a impressive 58 hp.
