Both the display unit and the lancing sensor have been optimized for use in agriculture.
The lancing sensor, which is more than 1 m long and has an integrated temperature probe, is very well suited for measuring hay and straw bales as well as bulk material.
The strength of the measuring method:
With little effort (without special sampling) the moisture can be estimated on site in bales*) and bulk material (grain wood chips), even "moisture nests" can be specifically detected.
The fast and precise temperature measurement can also be used to assess rotting and fermentation effects, even if the material moisture is already above the measuring range of the measuring device (e.g. in the case of silage).
