The Fluke 2062 Advanced Pro line detector enables precise and reliable fault finding on live and dead cables in private, commercial and industrial environments in accordance with measurement category CAT IV 600 V. This provides maximum safety under comparable cable detectors. The device was developed to protect you from the most dangerous transient voltage surges, i.e. from voltage spikes of up to 8,000 V, which can occur in industrial and power supply environments. This is particularly important for applications in industrial plants, factories and hospitals where critical equipment cannot be shut down. Only available on Fluke 2062, the patented Smart SENSOR™ makes locating cables faster and easier. It locates energized wires in walls, floors and ceilings and indicates them on a high resolution 8.9 cm (3.5") TFT LC color screen. Embedded help windows on the screen make it easy for beginners and experts alike. While the peak sensor emits an acoustic signal when locating cables, the Smart sensor helps in visualizing and determining the exact position of conducting cables, so that uncertainties are ruled out. Whether you are troubleshooting electrical lines and devices in residential houses, business buildings or high-voltage systems, the Fluke 2062 is where you find interruptions and short-circuits. Its various modes and functions give you the flexibility to solve a variety of problems with electrical lines and circuits that you may encounter during your work. The Fluke 2062 Advanced Pro wire detector kit is equipped with everything that WAS is required for detecting cables and circuits. The accessory kit contains test leads, probes, adapters for sockets with round and flat contacts as well as alligator clips for connecting the transmitter to electrical systems. Connecting the transmitter to a bare conductor with the provided alligator clips and measuring cables will always give you the most accurate results. In situations where a direct connection to a bare conductor is not possible, the included i400 current probe can be used with the "Loop" mode to induce a amplified 6 kHz signal through the insulation. The kit also contains a magnetic holder with belt, batteries and a hard-shell case.
