Description

The KonexXt CO One from Hekatron is a carbon monoxide warning device for use in homes, apartments and rooms with similar residential uses. It detects carbon monoxide and alerts at hazardous concentrations that may occur when operating combustion devices such as gas heaters, fireplaces, ovens, grills and open fireplaces.

Electrochemical carbon monoxide sensor
Through its electrochemical carbon monoxide sensor, the detector detects CO concentrations in the range from 30 to 999 ppm.

10 years life without battery change
Thanks to the built-in 3 V lithium manganese battery, the detector has a typical service life of 10 years from initial operation.

Warning of the end of life
The detector warns with an audio and visual signal 30 days before the end of its life.

Acoustic signaling 85 dB(A)
In the case of an alarm (from 50 ppm), an acoustic signal occurs via the integrated horn with a sound pressure level of 85 dB(A) at a distance of 3 m. An error or the end of life is also signaled acoustically.

Visual signaling
The optical signaling takes place via 3 LEDs. A green LED indicates operational readiness (Power), a red LED an alarm or an alarm memory entry (ALARM) and a yellow LED indicates an error or the end of life (FAULT).

Display
The display shows the currently measured CO concentration in the air as well as the activated mute function, the maximum value in the alarm memory, a weak battery (end of life) and a device error.

Multifunction button
To activate the test alarm or mute, and to query and clear the alarm memory.

Test alarm
The multifunctional button can be used to trigger a TEST alarm with increasing signal tone, in order to check the function of the detector once a month after the manufacturer has recommended it.

Mute switch
In the case of an alarm with CO concentration below 150 ppm or an error, a brief mute function (SILENCE) can be activated via the multifunctional button.

Alarm memory
An alarm is signaled for 48 hours in the display. After this, the last saved maximum value can be called and deleted via the multifunctional button.

Wall mount option
The detector can be wall-mounted using the mounting material supplied (mounting plate, dowels and screws). Alternatively, the inclined actuator can also be set up freely, e.g. on a table.

Tested according to EN 50291-1
The detector is tested according to the standard for electrical devices for detecting carbon monoxide in residential buildings. It conforms to type B (for optical and acoustic alarm only).
