The NetPeppers network professional kit for testing copper and glass fiber cabling in a practical Sortimo case. The NetPeppers network professional kit combines the proven KleinTools Scout Pro 3 cable tester and the Proprobpro tone detection probe for testing twisted-pair, telephone and coax cabling with the VIAVI NSC-100 Ethernet tester for a comprehensive analysis of GPON fiber optic cables or copper house connections. This combination enables the service technician and installer to cover everything when reinstalling Internet connections or troubleshooting: The Scout Pro 3 is used for the wiring test with length display, for PoE power measurement and sound tracking. It also has a switch/router flashing function for easy port allocation. Individual wires can be tracked using the probe Proprobpro tone location, WAS is useful for example in older ISDN house wiring.
The VIAVI NSC-100 handset, which is paired with the smartphone, provides many functions for checking the network: Throughput measurements up to 2.5 Gbps (SpeedCheck, Ookla Speedtest, TrueSpeed RFC-6349, iperf), advanced WiFi 3x3 tests Wi-Fi tests up to WiFi 6 (network coverage, channel noise, "Airtime" transmission and throughput), and display of PON activation status, SFP power level, PON ID, ODN class according to ITU-T G.9807 and G.988. All this can be determined by pressing just one button in the auto test mode "OneCheck". Reporting after the test has been completed is also possible.
