ISO 11898-2 CAN repeater with series connection capability
The CAN-CR 200 is used for galvanic isolation of two segments of a CAN network and for setting up star or tree topologies. The CAN-CR 200 is modular and can be combined to form a "star coupler". The connection is done via a Hutschienenbus. As a special feature separates the Repeater a defective segment from the rest of the network, so that the remaining network can work. After remedying the fault, the segment again automatically to the network.
The galvanic isolation is both for the CAN-segments as well as for the supply voltage.
