Product description

Description

LOCTITE® LB 8040 is a special mineral oil for the loosening of rusted, corroded and seized parts. The shock-freezing effect cools the parts within a very short time to -43°C and causes microscopic cracks in the rust layer to develop. Due to the capillary effect, the lubricant components contained can penetrate directly into the rust layer. The product forms a thin film on the dissolved parts that lubricates and prevents the formation of rust.

Characteristics

Lubricant - emergency repair. Shock freeze effect (-40 °C). Loosens rusted, corroded and seized parts. Penetrates directly into the rust layer through capillary action.
