A matrix switch offers the possibility for independent and simultaneous distribution of AV-contents from several source devices to several displays in freely selectable switching configurations.
The 2x2 HDMI 8K60 Matrix provides such a solution for distributing the content of two source devices to two target devices (displays, TVs or projectors). Two HDMI inputs and outputs each offer the possibility of switching between two separate source devices or two connected HDMI displays and output video signals from one or two sources on two displays.
The 8K HDMI signal support enables transmitting high-resolution 4K UHD resolutions of up to 3840 x 2160@120Hz or 8K 7680 x 4320@60Hz, with HDR capability (High Dynamic Range) video playback with unprecedented brilliance, high contrasts and an extended color space - the perfect solution for high-quality home theater environments or smaller digital signage environments in the retail sector.
Integrated HDCP 2.3 support ensures that copy-protected content isn't out of the picture, for example when using Blu-ray players, set-top boxes or 4K media players as source devices. The easy EDID management by sliding switch on the front of the device always guarantees the use of the best possible resolution depending upon the combination of source and target device.
Along with HDMI-audio-pass-through, a Toslink and a 3.5mm-audio output also enable the decoupling of the audio signal from the HDMI data stream - for instance, for controlling sound bars, analogue loudspeaker systems or AV-receivers, in order to generate an immersive audio experience as a supplement to the high-resolution video images on the displays.
The matrix switch can be controlled in a very simple way via switch buttons on the front of the device, while the accompanying remote control enables the user to control multiple video contents and displays - Ideal for use at fairs, in training presentations or sales demos.
