With the Modicon modular safety controller XPSMCM, security applications can be easily configured and the system can be flexibly expanded with modules according to the application. This expansion module enables the evaluation of safe speeds and rotational directions in order to implement functions such as standstill, SLS or maximum speed. 1 encoders with TTL interface can be connected to the module via the RJ45 socket or 2 sensors via the clamps that record the turning movement in the application. For connection to the internal bus, the required rear-wall bus connector is included in the package. The module has removable spring terminals. This expansion module can be used with all CPU-versions.
