Description
The Harmony XPS Basic safety relays provide basic safety functions. The focus is on classic functions and simple operation with a lot of switch contacts. It can be operated directly without setting and has a realizable security function. For this purpose, the mechanical NC contacts of emergency stop/stop buttons, position switches or cable pull switches are integrated into the supply circuit of the safety relay. Thus, the safety function can be implemented in one or two-channel (redundant) versions. For the start function, the automatic, manual or monitored start is available at separate inputs. This safety switching relay has 4 safe relay normally-open contacts and 2 relay normally-closed contacts. The supply voltage is 48-240 VAC/DC and the connections are made via removable screw terminals. Application up to the safety level PL e in category 4 or SIL3 can be implemented. The assembly is done by snapping onto a DIN rail or by screwing on mounting plates. A clearly numbered locking band is provided to protect the settings under the transparent cover. Multiple approvals enable international use.
