Description
Hygienic conductivity probes 8221 are used to measure electrical conductivity in a wide range of different pure or concentrated liquids. Due to their hygienic and robust design, these conductivity probes are suitable for the food and pharmaceutical industries, as well as for biotechnology and chemical industries.
The conductivity probes are based on two different technologies:
• Probes which are constructed according to the 2-electrode principle are suitable for measurements in pure liquids, especially ultrapure water. Contamination affects the measurements.
• Probes built according to the 4-electrode principle prevent polarization effects and are insensitive to contamination. This guarantees excellent linearity over the entire measuring range.
A temperature sensor (Pt1000) is integrated in all versions.
The probe must be connected with the multiCELL transmitter/controller type 8619.
