Description
The pneumatic control type 8697 is designed for the decentralized automation of pneumatic process valves ELEMENT type 21xx. Mechanical or inductive limit switches detect the valve position. The integrated pilot valve controls single-acting drives. The design of the control and actuator enables an internal control air flow without external hoses. In addition to the electrical position feedback, the device status is displayed by LEDs on the pneumatic control itself. The housing is made of chemically resistant materials and is easy to clean and offers practical IP protection for use in hygienic process technology in the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries. In combination with the ELEM series of Bürkert drives, the pneumatic control system allows spring chamber ventilation, thereby preventing contamination of the drive chambers by the environment.
