Description
The type 8111 is a level switch for liquids with a tuning fork as a sensor element. It is designed for industrial applications in all areas of process engineering and can be used in liquids. Typical applications are overflow or dry-running protection. Depending on the version, the devices can be used to monitor or control fill levels in potentially explosive areas, even in the case of flammable liquids, gases, fog or vapors. Thanks to its simple and robust measuring system, it can be used almost independently of the chemical and physical properties of the liquid. It also works under difficult measuring conditions, such as turbulence, air bubbles, foaming (not suitable for measuring the foam thickness itself), adhesion, strong vibrations of foreign materials or changing contents.
