Description
The Bürkert transmitter type 8202 is a compact measuring device for measuring the pH in clean, dirty, sulphide or protein-containing liquids or for measuring the redox potential value (ORP) in clean, dirty, sulphide or protein-containing liquids and liquids with low conductivity.
The design of the measuring device simplifies Bürkert installation and maintenance work.
The device type 8202 is available in two versions.
The first, the so-called ELEMENT Standard, is offered either with three adjustable outputs (two digital outputs and one analog output) or with four adjustable outputs (two digital outputs and two analog outputs) and can be equipped with a display. The display is only used for commissioning, configuration (e.g. Selection of pH/ORP measurement, measuring range, units, calibration, limits) or as display of process value
The second, the so-called ELEMENT neutrino, is a 2-wire device without display and with a 4…20 mA current output or with a digital communication mode that can communicate either via IO-Link or in bus (Bürkert system bus based on CANopen).
The type 8202 device converts the measurement signal and calculates the output signals that are available with the standard ELEMENT version via one or two M12 plug connections or, for the neutrino ELEMENT, via an M12 plug connection or on a terminal strip via a cable gland. For the Standard variant ELEMENT, the device displays different values in different measurement units (if a display is mounted).
