The Akyga® AK-SC-E14 Type 2 connector is the perfect solution for anyone who is faced with the challenge of repairing or replacing a damaged EVSE cable, charger or adapter. It helps to restore the full functionality of EV chargers whose type 2 charging plug has failed. This connector is often used in electric vehicles manufactured for the European market.
The Type 2 socket is made from materials that are very resistant to mechanical damage such as falls or pressure, WAS ensures a durability and reliability over many years. The silver-plated pins provide additional protection against corrosion and allow a current load of up to 32 A.
A 220 Ω resistor, which is decisive for correct charging, is included in the delivery. In order to ensure the safety and optimal performance of the system, the installation of the plug should be carried out by a professional with the appropriate skills and knowledge. Improper assembly of the component can have serious consequences, including property damage or health and life hazards, e.g. electric shock.
