- The adapter can be connected to a USB-C™ port that does not support Power delivery, but no power is routed through the connected device
- A 4K-enabled display is required to achieve the resolution of 3840 x 2160.
- When using high-performance USB™ devices, connect a USB-C™ power adapter to the Power delivery port for maximum performance. When using your USB-C™ power adapter, the multi-adapter powers the adapter (with attached peripherals) and your laptop
- To ensure full copying of files, do not disconnect the USB-C™ power adapter during the copy process. For maximum performance, use a computer and a USB-C™ power adapter with PD 3.0.
- The device warms up to a moderate amount while large amounts of data are being transferred or a USB-C™ power supply is connected
