This bus-powered USB™ hub only draws power from the computer's USB™ port. When connecting high-performance devices, such as solid-state drives (SSD), please limit the number of USB™ devices to a performance where less than 3 A of total power is obtained from all connected devices. The power consumption of most SSDs is about 1 to 1.2 A, so we recommend the simultaneous connection of no more than 2 or 3 SSDs, depending on the performance use of the SSD.
