Description

The GW Instek PSU series, a high power density DC power supply, is 1U high and compatible with 19" rack mount size. The series is suitable for the installation of test systems or the system system integration by flexible selection of models for integration into the existing test system. The PSU series, which has excellent voltage and current control functions, comprises fifteen models with output voltage/current in the range of 6V/200A to 600V/2.6A. The series is suitable for different test conditions and test samples, including testing of electronic components, micro-resistors, relays, shunt resistors resistors resistors resistors, 12V/24V/48V battery simulations and tests of electronic devices in the automotive sector.
The PSU-HV series is ideal for the primary input of DC/DC converters and servo motors production application. PSU is often integrated into component testing systems, such as aging testers for capacitors; 600V DC bias applications; age testers for diodes; semiconductor production plants, automotive electronics, and ECU for V8 or V12 engines, etc. The use of the same PSU series models to perform series and parallel circuits can increase total output power, total current, or total voltage. The PSU Series wide voltage and current output can fully meet a variety of voltage and current measurement requirements. The PSU series is a single output programmable DC power supply that delivers 1200W to 1560W power. The PSU-series offers a maximum of 2 devices in series connection (models below 300V) to achieve a maximum voltage of 600V, or 4 devices in parallel connection to a maximum of 800A and the maximum output power of 6.24 kilowatts. The PSU series allows settings for CC priority or CV priority. In CC or CV mode, the user can set the slew rate for the output voltage or output current according to the test requirements. There are two types of slew rate settings: High speed priority and slew rate priority. High speed priority sets the rate of rise to the maximum speed to reach CC or CV mode. The slew rate priority allows the user to set the slew rate for CC or CV mode to control the rise or fall rate. The "Slew rate priority" mode is ideal for motor tests motor tests by setting the rise time of the output voltage to protect the test object from damage caused by the inrush current. Compared to other 1U power supplies available on the market, the PSU supports a variety of interfaces including USB, LAN, RS-232, RS-485, Analogueue control interface, GPIB (optional), isolated analogue interface (voltage control) and isolated analogue interface (current control). About the
Multidrop mode, the power supply does not require a switch/hub or GPIB cable for remote control and slave device extension when using LAN, USB or GPIB. This feature can help the user save costs for
Save money for connecting slaves when using LAN or USB. The PSU-series offers the user flexible settings of high/low level or trigger input/trigger output signals with a pulse width of 1 ~ 60ms. The trigger input controls the PSU for output or upload preset voltage, current and memory parameters. During the output or upload of preset voltage, current and memory parameters, the power supply can generate corresponding trigger output signals.
