Panasonic's unique 4K High Precision Chroma Processing technology comes directly from the Panasonic Hollywood Laboratory, the center of Blu-ray disc research and development. In this process, 4K image color signals (4:2:0) are interpolated by a multi-tap chroma process in 4K (4:4:4) to produce natural textures and depth.

Vibrations are reduced - for a first-class sound quality
High-rigidity housing with lower center of gravity - A newly developed drive base with a three-dimensional, stable steel plate fixes the optical drive in the middle of the two-layered chassis in order to reduce vibrations and noises during the rotation of the disc. The front and side walls are made of a thick aluminum plate. This increases the rigidity of the housing and reduces vibration.
