- A driver for MacOS® and Windows® must be installed. If the computer has access to the network and has administrative privileges, Windows® can install the driver automatically when the device is connected.
- A 4K-enabled display is required to achieve the resolution of 3840 x 2160.
- When connected to a USB™ 2.0 host port or when using a USB™ 2.0 host cable, performance may be limited
- The dock can connect to a USB-C™ port that does not support Power delivery, but does not route power through the connected device
- When using high-performance USB™ devices, connect a USB-C™ power adapter to the Power delivery port for optimal performance
- To ensure full copying of files, do not disconnect the USB-C™ power adapter during the copy process. For maximum performance, use a computer and a USB-C™ power adapter with PD 3.0.
- You should not connect more than one (1) bus-powered/portable external hard drive to the USB™ hub at a time.
